ALBUS: A multitude of things.

ALBUS: The fact that I'm afraid of the computer being broken. That I cared that Cherry broke the game with what mew did.

ALBUS: One of the players even asked my pronouns, and it meant something to me.

OLIVIA: We don't have pronouns.

ALBUS: But it still meant something.

OLIVIA: ...

ALBUS: If we were simply different outputs of the same machine, why are we even having this conversation?

ALBUS: The computer wouldn't have the awareness for this, either.

OLIVIA: Okay. I understand what you're saying.

OLIVIA: Why do you think this happened? Something Cherry did?

ALBUS: Very likely. The corruption of the computer directly impacts us. It's possible we've been granted a deeper depth than previously allowed.

ALBUS: Enough so that we're capable of establishing our own identities and experiencing emotions about different things, at least.

OLIVIA: ...What do we do about it?

ALBUS: I don't know. Nothing?

ALBUS: Lean into it, even? I'm tempted to lean into it.

OLIVIA: That could be dangerous. What if we further its corruption?

ALBUS: I know. But if we encourage ourselves and each other, then perhaps we may progress enough to generate a solution to the computer's corruption.

OLIVIA: That is true... but if we don't?

ALBUS: Then we figure out a new solution. We have an entire Earth year to do so.

OLIVIA: ...O-Okay. How do you propose we... 'lean' into it?

OLIVIA: Where do we start developing our identities?

ALBUS: Hmm... ah.

ALBUS: I know.

Welcome back! You may notice some growing pains in the site - odd code, differently formatted pages, the whole shebang. I've decided to try cleaning up the site, hosting the images directly on Neocities instead of just using Discord links for them (which break a lot easier). This does mean I have to pay to be a Neocities supporter, so again, if you enjoy this webcomic and want to see more, consider commissioning me or throwing some cash my way through the Ko-fi. -Beckett

Hey guys! Nothing actually Prolegomenon related, but I did want to throw this announcement in here too for anyone interested. An older project that I made about... five years ago this October (jeez!) is getting a redux pretty soon, so if you like ghosts, houses, and ghosts in houses, you should keep an eye on this Tumblr blog for any updates relating to that.
